Volunteer Helpers – Gosport Line Dancing Class on Thursdays Afternoons

We need Volunteer Helpers for our Gosport Line Dancing Class on Thursdays 13:00-14:30 at The Anchorage in Gosport.

This role in particular would require you to be positive and demonstrate a willingness to help us deliver a fantastic service to the members of our clubs. Ideally, you will be a team player and happy to get involved in any aspect of the club meetings. This could involve ensuring the venue is safe and welcoming for our members; this will include setting the room up appropriately, helping any members with limited mobility, providing refreshments to the members or encouraging engagement of the activity. This is an instructor-led class which needs volunteers to support. You may also have a specific skill or interest you would like to share with our members; we’re always on the lookout for new activities – if so we’d be very interested to hear from you!

Skills

This role requires you to be a confident communicator and a team player with a positive, calm and welcoming approach. No experience is required and beginners are welcome!

This role allows you to develop at your own pace gaining experience, skills, confidence and friendships. We provide you with bespoke training which includes: Induction, Safeguarding, Health & Safety and First Aid. There are also ongoing development opportunities available. We provide reimbursement of out of pocket expenses, such as travel and undertake an enhanced DBS check – at no cost to you. All volunteers are automatically entitled to free Brendoncare community membership, giving you access to a wide range of services.
