But BFCS is much more than \’just a foodbank\’. We work with community partners to help people avoid getting in to poverty, whether through budgeting support, parenting advice, supporting mental health initiatives and opportunities to develop new skills.**Overview of the role:** This role involves overseeing the management and well-being of the volunteer workforce. This will include leading with the recruitment and training of volunteers, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and identifying potential improvements. You will report to the Food bank Project Manager and Board of Trustees.The role may involve travel to and from meetings with key stakeholders, locally and regionally and possibly attendance at Trussell Trust events across the UK.**Key tasks**• Managing the recruitment of volunteers• Overseeing the induction and training of staff• Lead administrator for “Assemble”, the Trussell Trust’s internet-based volunteer hub• Develop a culture that promotes best practice and shared learning• Be responsible for ensuring high standards of care towards our volunteers• Ensuring volunteers receive regular feedback and an annual review on their performance and an opportunity for 360o feedback• Oversee, and contribute to, an internal newsletter for all BFCS staff and volunteers* Organise an annual Volunteer Recognition event and BFCS\’s involvement with Volunteer Week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
