CLARE CIC is looking for compassionate volunteers to become Walking Companions for older adults in the North Belfast area. Many of the people we support experience loneliness and social isolation, and something as simple as a friendly walk and chat can have a huge impact on their wellbeing, confidence, and sense of connection.
As a Walking Companion, you'll enjoy a gentle stroll together, provide friendly conversation, and help an older person stay active and engaged in their community.
No special experience is needed- just a friendly, reliable nature and a willingness to listen. A small amount of your time could become the highlight of someone's week.
