Hours: Flexible – ideal for learners, career returners, retirees & young volunteers

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Role Purpose: To help run a welcoming, inclusive Community Food Hub while growing personal skills and confidence. Whether you’re 17 or 70, this role offers practical learning, mentoring, and a path to upskilling - supporting everything from cooking and food hygiene to confidence building and peer support. Volunteers can take part in multiple roles within the building from the kitchen, helping in the Community Food Hub or with drop ins while also joining learning opportunities or receiving tailored support to take their next step in life or work. Training is woven gently into the daily rhythm - so learning never feels like a test, but a shared experience.
