Volunteer Now has partnered with Be Collective to bring a dedicated online platform for volunteering to Northern Ireland. The platform supports volunteers through the volunteering process and helps connect more people with a wider range of opportunities.

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Summer Camp Counsellors to support our Day Camp Programme for children and young people. Volunteers help create a fun, safe and welcoming environment through games, activities, outdoor adventures and camp events.

This is a full-time volunteering opportunity with accommodation and a weekly allowance included. The programme runs from 17th June until 21st August and includes training within those dates. The shifts will be 8am to 4pm from Monday to Friday.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience working with young people, build confidence and leadership skills, and become part of an international community.

Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Lead a range of activities that support young people to develop and learn as part of centre programmes
  • Work with young people from diverse social, political and economic backgrounds, some of whom will be challenging
  • Help in other aspects of the centre’s work, including hosting young people
