Praxis Care is a registered charity created in 1981 to support people with mental health issues at risk of exclusion in their community, by providing accommodation and befriending services. Over the years, Praxis Care has developed the range of accommodation and support services and expanded the service user groups to include people with learning disabilities, autism and dementia. Praxis Care is committed to helping those at risk of exclusion because of complexity of need. Our approach is to help the person enhance their self-management skills and learn more effective ways of communication. We support over 1,500 adults and children in over 80 different locations across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man and England.
