About Bolster Community: Bolster Community is a charity based in Newry supporting individuals and families to thrive. Our Home2Hospital Service helps older people living rurally access essential medical care by providing friendly, door-to-door transport and companionship.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Drive people we support to and from hospital or clinic appointments outside their local area.
  • Ensure passengers feel comfortable, supported, and safe throughout the journey.
  • Maintain confidentiality and treat all people we support with dignity and respect.
  • Communicate with Bolster Community staff regarding schedules, mileage, and any concerns.
  • Represent Bolster Community positively within the community.
