This neighbourhood project is growing and developing and there is the opportunity to join the team as a Youth Support Worker. You would lead WOW, our Wednesday night youth group, as well as develop new work out of The Cabin, our community building managed by young people. We have a team of volunteers and employed staff – a Project Coordinator/Youth worker and Children and Family worker. Hours are mainly worked in term time, with flexibility to cover Holiday Club and residentials. Salaries are paid monthly at the same rate throughout the year.
We can offer:
- The chance to be part of a growing and developing organisation
- A team of committed volunteers
- The chance to be creative with the direction of the work
- Support and opportunity for personal development within the role
An enhanced DBS check will be required. We are a Christian organisation and this role has a genuine occupational requirement to be filled by a Christian who shares our ethos and values.
Closing date for applications is Sunday 6 th July and interviews will be held in the late afternoon on Monday 14 th July.
