Volunteer Support and Communications Worker
Canopy Housing Project
Location: Leeds (Burley office, with travel to properties across Leeds)
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours/week (in the office/on-site 8.30am-2.30pm Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri)
Contract: Permanent

Canopy Housing transforms empty houses into homes for people who are homeless – working side-by-side with volunteers, tenants, and local communities. We’re looking for a friendly, adaptable, and pro-active Volunteer Support and Communications Worker to work with our amazing volunteers as they build skills and confidence, creating compelling content to showcase our work and their impact.
You’ll need to have:
- Experience delivering employment support to people with additional needs
- Experience with social media and content creation
- Strong communication, admin and organisational skills
- Professional understanding of the issues faced by disadvantaged people and communities.
- A willingness to join in with practical activities on a building site
