Thank you for showing an interest in applying for the role of Youth Worker. This is an exciting role to lead and drive our Charity Objectives in supporting young people in making positive changes to their lives in gaining social skills and problem-solving challenges in life.
You must have a good sound knowledge of issues facing young people in challenging times along with solutions to problems they encounter. The post is based in buildings along with detached youth work in Kirkstall ward in Leeds. The sessions are run over 3 days on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings where you will be required to commit to this arrangement.
The post requires the holder to have a Level 3 Certificate in Youth and Community Work, however we will consider someone with the relevant experience and the willingness to train towards a Level 3 Certificate in Youth and Community.
The role will require you to possess:

We require a Youth Worker with a pro‑active approach, solution‑focused, with experience in youth work or a similar field and a recognised qualification. You will be responsible for developing projects that inspire and empower young people, challenging inequalities, providing support based on young people’s needs and producing reports. You will work closely with the General Manager in delivering our charitable objectives.
