Do you have great peer support skills? Have you got an interest in working as part of a team supporting LGBTQ+ people experiencing poor mental health? We require a part‑time Peer Support Worker to deliver peer support for LGBTQIA+ people experiencing poor mental health and to work as part of the Mental Health Team to provide community‑driven mental health support in Leeds.

Prime Objectives:

  • PSWs deliver support through a lived experience model, offering 1:1 and group‑based interventions.
  • The delivery model is co‑produced throughout the project.
  • PSWs support individuals in accessing community services and link with statutory services, acting as a bridge between primary care and community mental health.

Salary: NJC scale 5 (points 11‑17) starting at £28,598 pro rata per annum for 30 hours per week. Salary and contract are reviewed annually. There is a 5% workplace pension (on completion of probationary period). This post is subject to a Standard DBS check.
