We have an exciting opportunity available for a Freelance Digital Inclusion Drop-in Group Facilitator for our HIV support service in Leeds. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced group facilitator with digital inclusion knowledge, who can deliver digital inclusion support in a way that promotes health access and safety online.
Our services in Leeds provide:
- Support for people living with HIV
- Community engagement initiatives and sexual health promotion interventions including outreach, 1:1 and group interventions
- Challenge stigma, discrimination and health inequalities
- Promote equality and diversity
The post holder will deliver weekly digital drop-in inclusions for 24 weeks (12 weeks in the summer and 12 weeks in the autumn), in addition to supporting the Leeds Skyline team to understand the digital inclusion needs of our service users.
The role will involve:
- Providing accurate tech and digital guidance to people living with HIV in an accessible manner
- Promoting the use of tech and digital equipment for improving health care access, independent travel, confidence and financial literacy
- Promoting safety online in the delivery of the drop-in workshops
- Working in partnership with the Leeds Skyline team and volunteers to identify and report on the success of the drop-in, in addition to opportunities for improvement
- Supporting the Leeds Skyline team to identify and support service users who have expressed an interest in developing their tech and digital skills
- Supporting the Leeds Skyline team to better understand and improve their digital support for people living with HIV
