We’re looking for a passionate and organised Commercial Events Lead to join our Hospitality team.

What you’ll be doing

As our Commercial Events Lead, you’ll oversee the planning and delivery of a varied programme of commercial events across our venues.

You’ll manage events from initial concept and booking through to delivery, evaluation and future improvements.

Key responsibilities include

  • Planning and delivering large-scale events and entertainment programmes.
  • Booking and liaising with artists, promoters, suppliers and external partners.
  • Working closely with colleagues across Hospitality, Marketing, Security and Venues teams.
  • Managing event budgets, monitoring performance and helping maximise ticket sales.
  • Ensuring events are safe, well‑organised and deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Leading event operations, including regular evening and weekend working during key events and busy periods.
  • What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who combines creativity with excellent organisation and attention to detail.

You’ll ideally have

  • Experience working in events, entertainment, hospitality or a similar environment.
  • Experience planning and delivering successful events.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Confidence working with a range of stakeholders, including students, colleagues and external partners.
  • Experience managing budgets or working towards financial targets.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
  • A genuine interest in student culture, trends and creating memorable experiences.
