GIPSIL is a growing organisation focused on homelessness prevention, health and wellbeing, and community building, delivering services that support people, strengthen communities and reduce inequality across Leeds. Achieving this relies on an engaged, supported and values‑led workforce.
We are now seeking an Associate Director of Organisational Development to join our Senior Management Team and play a pivotal role in shaping GIPSIL’s people, culture and organisational future. This is a senior strategic leadership role with real scope to influence how we work as an organisation. You will lead the direction for organisational development, workforce and people strategy, ensuring our culture, systems and practices enable staff to thrive and deliver high‑quality, compassionate services.
Working closely with SMT colleagues, the Board and staff across the organisation, you will champion inclusive and trauma‑informed practice, strengthen staff voice and co‑production, and embed equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of work. You will lead leadership and workforce development, support engagement and belonging, and use insight and evidence to inform organisational learning and improvement.
The role also involves representing GIPSIL externally, developing partnerships that support workforce development across the city and contributing to governance, assurance and organisational leadership.
We are looking for a confident, thoughtful and values‑driven leader who understands that organisational culture is not an add‑on — it is central to impact, sustainability and wellbeing. We are excited by the opportunity to shape culture, grow leadership at every level and make a meaningful difference within a mission‑led organisation.
