Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: This is a one-year contract for 20 hours a week. Monday-Friday 10.00-14.00 (Variation to this can be discussed).

Responsible to: Office Manager

Job Purpose: To support the office manager by completing administration tasks for the charity and providing good customer service to all our customers. Leeds and Moortown Furniture Store is a forty year old charity that collects pre-loved furniture and then gives to people living in furniture poverty in Leeds.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emails and answer the telephone to deal with questions and queries.
  • Input data and details into scheduling systems.
  • Support with organising deliveries and collections.
  • Complete stock inventories.
  • Help with picking stock and orders when needed.
  • Sell items on eBay and other online forums.
  • Processing payments.
  • Meet and greet visitors to the charity.
