Community Learning Partnerships is a highly recognised, successful Leeds based charity with 35 years of experience working in deprived areas of the city to reduce inequality, poverty and deprivation and improve the wellbeing of children, young people and adults through the provision of learning, skills and personal development opportunities. We have been successful gaining funding from West Yorkshire Combined Authority in partnership with Department of Work and Pensions for our new project, Healthy Working Lives Supported Employment in Leeds, and are currently seeking to appoint an Employer Engagement Specialist.

We are looking for an Employer Engagement Specialist to engage with employers to create sustainable employment opportunities and act as a liaison/mentor whilst promoting and advocating for unemployed or inactive participants experiencing sustained health conditions and young people not in education, employment or training (NEETS).

Qualifications:
  • Maintain and further develop business and employer links.
  • Work independently and as part of a team working alongside other Community Learning Partnerships projects.
  • Engage with employers to create opportunities and have experience in this area of work.
Benefits:
  • 25 days annual leave (pro‑ratio for part‑time posts) increasing according to length of service up to a maximum of 32 + statutory bank holidays.
  • Birthday day off (pro‑ratio for part‑time posts).
  • Actual salary £17,077.50 (£28,462.50 f/t 35 hours).
