Central Klub Leader and Schools Work Co-ordinator
This is a rare and exciting opportunity with responsibility for the planning, running and development of the Central Kidz Klub, the care and development of the Central Team and for the Coordination of our Schools Work. You will work closely with the Charity Leaders and our outstanding Volunteer and Staff Team.
ABOUT YOU:We seek an experienced, mature, Jesus-filled leader to join our team. You will facilitate reaching up to 1,000 inner city children with the love of God in word and deed each week. Working together with our dedicated, passionate and inspiring team of volunteers and staff, you will manage our tried and tested frontline model of reaching children at scale through the Central Klub and Schools Work.
Backed by our partnership of 22 Churches, businesses and the KK network, you will bring your gifts of project management, compassion, logistics, people management, communication and team leading. You will be excited about the focus of this role to reach children at scale. You will be motivated to see lasting transformation through the love of God for the children, their families and communities in inner city Leeds.
A team player, you will bring your ability to work alongside people, humility and professionalism to the role. You will enjoy being an ambassador for the charity, representing us in schools and fronting assemblies. If you are someone who is organised, with a track record in ops management, experienced in inner city contexts, in working alongside children and in leading a team- then this could be the role for you!
You will support a large intergenerational team of 50+ Volunteers. You will have a sense of calling to the children, the vision and the cause, joining us as we seek to steward God’s presence, lavish the children and the team with love. You will be passionate about the reach element of our work…oh and of course you will be a fan of custard pies, a creative program and engaging large groups of excited, very special children.
Kidz Klub Leeds is a registered Charity (1194238) working with 4-11 year olds in inner city areas. We have been running for 25 years. Our vision is to work together with congregations across the city to reach out to see lasting transformation, through the love of God, for the most marginalised, unreached children, their families and communities of Leeds.
Due to the nature of our work, this position is subject to a successful Disclosure and Barring Service check and references.
