Volunteer Community Shed Support Worker

Purposeof Role

Volunteeringwill take place at Roots & Shoots, our horticultural project in Rochford. Rootsand Shoots is home to our gardening project, which offers training andpractical experience to develop confidence, creativity and life skills foradults with learning disabilities and people with autism. This also gives theindividuals we work with the chance to make friends and have fun with eachother.

Thevolunteer will be required to lead activities at our new community shed, wheresocial connections and friendships can be made whilst sharing skills andknowledge over activities such as woodworking, metalworking, repairing andrestoring.
