The Art Ministry is looking for a Volunteer PR Manager to help raise our profile, strengthen our voice, and share the incredible impact of our creative activities on health and wellbeing. This is a rewarding role where your work will directly help more people discover the confidence, connection, and joy that creativity brings.
What we need
Media Engagement
- Be the main point of contact for all media enquiries
- Build relationships with journalists, influencers, voluntary sector networks, and local media
- Respond professionally and promptly to opportunities for coverage
Media Strategy & Storytelling
- Develop and deliver a media strategy that raises awareness of our work
- Write and distribute press releases, articles, and statements
- Highlight our projects, events, achievements, and the health wellbeing benefits of creativity
Social Media & Digital Support
- Ensure consistent messaging across our digital platforms
- Monitor media coverage and PR outcomes
- Identify opportunities to grow our visibility and community presence
Brand Representation
- Ensure all communications reflect our values and mission
- Prepare spokespeople for interviews with key messages and briefing notes
Event Promotion
- Help promote our events, exhibitions, and community activities
