Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to gather relevant information and data for bids.
  • Write clear, concise and persuasive grant proposals and funding applications.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with the funder guidelines and requirements.
  • Edit and proofread to ensure clarity, coherence, and professionalism.
  • Maintain a calendar of submission deadlines and follow-up actions.
  • Assist with the development of supporting documents, such as budgets and impact reports.
  • Track and report on the outcomes of bid submissions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our bid writing processes and strategies.

Skills

  • Proven experience in writing bids or grant proposals (volunteer or professional experience is acceptable).
  • Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information from various sources.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Understanding of fundraising principles and the non-profit sector is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote team environment.
