Handyman

We are looking for a volunteer to carry out general repair work to our building for 1-2 hours a week, any day/time that doesn’t interfere with the hall hires (most weekdays are free) – additional hours may be required to begin with.

This role requires someone who can communicate issues and provide rough material quotes for purchases to repair/replace things.

We require someone who is able to work on their own – without supervision.
DBS check will be provided.

Skills

• Ability to do minor repairs on the building (inside and outside), any skills a plus.
• Able to communicate requirements.
• Able to work on own initiative, without supervision.
• Expenses reimbursed where agreed beforehand.
• Health and Safety Policy.
• Ongoing support.
• Training provided.
• Volunteers covered by insurance.

When can I volunteer?

Start Date: 01/07/2024

Availability:

• Morning: Yes on Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sun; No on Tue, Sat.
• Afternoon: Yes on all days.
• Evening: No on all days.

Availability Details

1-2 hours a week to keep on top of things whenever is convenient.
