We are seeking a fundraiser to help our new group cover costs.
Core responsibilities:
- Develop and implement initiatives to increase donations from individuals, trust and corporate partners.
- Research campaigns to help secure donations.
- Raise awareness of our group.
- Help writing grant proposals to meet aims of the group.
- Contact companies for raffle donations.
- Seek out subsidised access to activities and general raising awareness of the group.
- Approach local businesses for support and funds.
- Event planning: plan and execute fundraising activities.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills.
- Creativity.
- Administrative proficiency for tracking donor databases.
Administration:
- Maintain accurate records in database to report on fundraising performance to committee.
Marketing & communications:
- Raise awareness of the group's mission through online content and social and local media relations.
