This is a Wellbeing group for unpaid carers, that meets face to face once a month. It is a Cuppa & Chat group that meets every month. You do not have to volunteer for both locations as each group is separate. Please say which location you are interested in when applying.

Billericay Cuppa and Chat
11am - 12:30pm
Reading Rooms, 73 High Street, Billericay, Essex, CM12 9AS
On the 3rd Monday of the month

Brentwood Drop in and Chat
2:30pm - 4pm
On the last Tuesday of the month

Duties:

  • To welcome carers as they arrive at the group
  • To offer emotional support and a listening ear
  • To feedback any relevant information from the group to the CSA via email/face to face
  • To assist with refreshments and setting up of venue
  • To help with clearing up and cleaning of venue
  • To attend regular reviews/supervisions as agreed
  • To attend training as required e.g. safeguarding and GDPR

Skills:

  • Working within boundaries
  • Making tea/coffee as requested
