Join a warm, welcoming team bringing Stebbing’s Victorian Christmas event to life! This is a social, creative opportunity to connect with others while helping prepare and/or host a festive community celebration. In the lead-up to the event, we’ll meet weekly to craft Victorian-themed decorations - think ivy tinsel, handmade ornaments and paper garlands.

On the day of the event (6 December 2025), volunteers will help set up and pack away, run craft activities and support the food and drinks station. Whether you are a maker and enjoy crafting, a leader, or just love being part of something fun and festive, there is a place for you here. No experience needed - just a willingness to join in and some festive spirit!

On the event day volunteers are needed to:

  • Help in the Kitchen - food & drink
  • Set up - table & chairs, decorating the hall
  • Close down - table & chairs, clearing everything away
  • Supporting the public with 4 specific craft activities
  • Playing (board style) games and encouraging others to join in
