Volunteer Centre Hackney are excited to announce that we are recruiting for a Fundraising and Grants Manager to play a crucial role in supporting our Hackney community. We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who will be given autonomy to develop a new fundraising strategy for our organisation. Using your experiences of relationship building, research and securing income, you will be vital in helping Volunteer Centre Hackney reach more areas of the community within and outside of Hackney who would benefit from our wonderful services.
We are seeking a self‑motivated individual to represent our charity both in-person and in writing and become an ambassador for the organisation. The successful applicant will have previous experience of securing income from trusts and foundations but also raising income through other means such as corporate, community or individual giving campaigns. Should there be a success in securing funding, there is potential for additional support to be recruited and for the successful candidate to become Head of Fundraising of a small team.
