An exciting opportunity has arisen in Linn Moor Campus to carry out housekeeping and related tasks to identified standards so as to contribute towards the delivery of a quality service designed to meet the needs of the service users with the Campus. The post will be term time only (38 weeks), Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 1.30pm (negotiable).

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Carrying out general housekeeping tasks in the assigned groups as directed to agreed work schedules and agreed standards.
  • Maintaining preparation and cooking areas, utensils and equipment in a clean condition which satisfies health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
  • Operating machinery and equipment according to instructions, with particular attention to safety rules.
  • Using cleaning agents properly according to instructions.
  • Carrying out any other duties which may be required from time to time provided the tasks are both reasonable and within the post-holder's capabilities.

Qualifications/Training/Education

Essential

  • Willingness and ability to undertake additional training as appropriate to the role.

Desirable

  • Infection control training
  • Manual handling training
