Responsibilities
We are growing our Sporting Memories network in West Lothian with a new club in Whitburn. The session will be based at Polkemmet Lodge every Tuesday morning from 10:30am to 12:00pm. Working as part of a volunteer team, you will enjoy connecting with people of all ages and backgrounds. You would love it if you enjoyed talking about sport and coming up with games and quizzes while understanding the value of companionship. You will engage and communicate sensitively with members, their partners or carers, fellow volunteers and staff. Being a sports fan is great but not essential for this role.
Qualifications
No specific experience required. But you should be comfortable facilitating conversation and supporting groups of people.
Availability
For this role, you should be able to volunteer once a week, for around two hours and
enjoy working as part of a team.
