West Lothian Litter Pickers are looking for a volunteer with social media experience to help grow our online presence and support our community environmental work. We are a friendly volunteer‑led group with over 4,000 members on Facebook who organise litter picks and environmental improvement activities across West Lothian. While Facebook has helped us build a fantastic community, we would love support expanding onto other platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, or others that could help us reach more people.
What the role could involve
- Advising the group on social media strategy
- Setting up and managing additional social media accounts
- Creating engaging posts, reels, or short videos
- Promoting local litter picks and events
- Sharing environmental news and success stories
- Supporting positive community engagement online
