Almond Enterprises Limited (AEL) is seeking Board Members to help drive the strategic direction and growth of the organisation to maximise its benefit to the local community. This is a voluntary role with no financial remuneration; however, travel expenses will be reimbursed.
The Board member role represents an exciting opportunity to help lead AEL through a period of significant growth as it looks to realise its significant potential and increase its considerable positive impact within West Lothian.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and delivering property related services.
- Finance oversight and decision‑making.
- Legal compliance and governance.
- Third sector knowledge and community engagement.
We welcome applications from individuals with:
- Commitment, enthusiasm and relevant experience to help deliver our three‑year Business Plan.
- Knowledge or experience in property related services, finance, legal or third sector.
- Previous experience as a Board member is not required; induction and training will be provided.
Board meetings are held twice a year remotely and twice in person, early evenings. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
