SOHTIS is a growing, vibrant and dynamic organisation, with justice at its heart. We are eager to go further, reaching many more victims and survivors of human trafficking across Scotland. In order to achieve this, we are looking for likeminded, justice-seeking people to help us build and diversify our funding streams.
The Volunteer Fundraising Supporter will work with senior members of the team to identify and support the securing of funding.
Experience required:
- Volunteers should have either excellent literacy skills, for example preparing newsletters, written communications, grant funding applications, and/or confidence in verbal communications, for example advertising fundraising initiatives to local community groups, faith groups, or others.
Additional Information:
- Minimum travel requirements.
- Use of SOHTIS facilities in Glasgow and/or Edinburgh.
- Remote working possible.
- Travel expenses reimbursement of expenses as agreed.
- Support Human trafficking awareness training will be provided and induction to SOHTIS work.
- Availability: No minimum commitment. According to volunteers' availability.
- Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
