SOHTIS is a leading anti‑human trafficking NGO in Scotland. Human trafficking happens in all 32 local authorities in Scotland. We are looking to recruit volunteer community fundraisers to help us raise awareness, connect and engage with local community networks, and help fund crucial services such as art therapy sessions and legal empowerment programs. This busy but rewarding role will help create lasting change for survivors.

It could involve setting up your own fundraiser, helping others organise one, or hosting your own Come Meet Share night with friends. We are open and excited to hear your ideas too.

Experience required: No specific experience is required. Applications are welcome from people who demonstrate the ability to organise their own time, are self‑motivated, and have strong communication skills. Experience in social media content and community engagement is highly desirable. No formal qualifications required.

Remote / hybrid: This role can be entirely remote if desired, or can involve some hybrid work across Glasgow. We would welcome applicants from all around Scotland. Where possible, volunteers will be allocated opportunities in a location convenient for them, and reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Travel expenses: Pre‑agreed travel and other expenses covered.

Date: 18 September 2025

Support: Induction and ongoing support provided.

Availability: Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun Morning Afternoon Evening

Volunteers (aged 16‑25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
