Job Description

Volunteer Connector

Location: 83-87 Pottergate, Norwich NR2 1DZ. A hybrid working policy is in place.

Contract type: Fixed term to 30th September 2026

Salary: £26,602 FTE

Hours: 37 hours per week – part time considered

DBS check: Adult Enhanced with Barred list Check

Are you passionate about the impact volunteers can have? Do you have experience of supporting clients at home or in the community? Do you want to make a difference to your local NHS?

We are looking for four Volunteer Connectors, who are passionate about the difference volunteers can make to their local community, enthusiastic about supporting clients as part of a wider team and knowledgeable about their local area. They make a real difference, by supporting local vulnerable people to rediscover their independence.

Volunteer Connectors are the Voluntary Norfolk face of our Support Services. Through volunteers and staff, we provide practical, short-term support to people in the community, aiming to help people through temporary issues or changes, to keep them living safely at home.

There are four positions available, each will cover a different area of Norfolk.
