Fixed term to 31st March 2026. Voluntary Norfolk, Units 4, 5 & 6, 83-87 Pottergate, Norwich NR2 1DZ or agreed named based in the east of Norfolk and Waveney. A hybrid working policy is in place. Ability to travel across east Norfolk and Waveney as part of the role is essential.

To work with the Volunteer Service Manager to continuously improve the ECCH Volunteer Service, develop new roles and meet agreed targets in line with approved VN and ECCH Volunteer policy and procedures.

The Volunteer Coordinator is the face of VN and the ECCH Volunteer service, co-ordinating delivery of the volunteering service on a day-to-day basis, setting and demonstrating standards and reporting progress. This includes recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers both remotely and in person.

The Volunteer Coordinator is enthusiastic about the positive impact of volunteering in improving and supporting ECCH services and patient experience. They are dedicated to recruiting, training and supporting highly quality volunteers, have good IT, communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoy helping others to achieve their goals and make a difference.
