Personal Assistants needed across Sheffield.
Whether this is working with those who need companionship and motivation, supporting them with physical care, or keeping them safe while enjoying their hobbies and interests, IBK are currently supporting a number of children and adults with a range of needs and disabilities to find a PA or PAs to support them with their daily lives.
Responsibilities:
- Support them to build confidence
- Understanding their emotional needs
- Keeping them safe
- Support during their hobbies and interests
- Support taking daily medications
- Assistance with washing, dressing, feeding and moving around
- Using a variety of equipment e.g. wheelchairs, hoists
- Constant support throughout day and night
Personalities and traits:
- Friendly, reliable and respectful
- Adaptable to routines
- Some work, personal experience or studying in care or support
- Be physically and emotionally capable
- Respectful of other ethnicities and cultures
- Depending on the complexity of the individual’s needs, experience of working with those who have disabilities, complex needs and communication difficulties using PECs
