Location: South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Central Headquarters, 197 Eyre Street, Sheffield, S1 3FG / Agile working
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the organisation‑wide 360° Feedback process.
- Oversee the launch and ongoing management of the staff engagement survey.
- Monitor progress against the Culture Action Plan, ensuring initiatives reflect the service vision and values.
- Lead on elements of Leadership and Management training delivery and contribute to building the confidence of leaders through skills development.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Organisational Development interventions and understanding of how culture underpins organisational effectiveness.
- Hands‑on experience delivering OD initiatives, including large‑scale surveys and coordinating 360° and other feedback processes.
- CI PD‑qualified (or working towards a relevant qualification) with a consistent track record of delivering programme objectives proactively and reliably.
- Highly motivated, organised, confident in setting priorities, achieving key targets and evaluating impact; capable of autonomous decision‑making.
Our Offer
- Salary commences on the bottom of the grade with incremental increases to the top of the grade.
- 28 days annual leave (pro‑rata) plus Bank Holidays. Leave increases after 5 years’ service to 32 days, followed by an extra day a year up to a maximum of 37 days plus bank holidays.
- Flexi time and agile working, with potential of up to 13 days accrued within a year.
