IBK is a community based, not-for-profit social enterprise with over 20 years’ experience of providing Direct Payment Support to families, children and adults of all ages with a range of needs. We provide a bespoke matching service, finding the right PA for the right person.
IBK are supporting a family to recruit a PA for their teenage daughter who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy 1-2, which severely affects her muscle development. The creative young lady loves dressing up, painting her nails, and getting out and about whether this is to town or the cinema.
With a combination of clinical nursing and PA support, the role of the PA would be focused on meeting the young girl’s social needs and some practical support involving moving, handling and having an NG tube. The role would be shared between 2 PAs with training provided by her parents, nursing team and the other PA who is already employed by the family.

Pay: £13.64 per hour
