Overview

Sheffield Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus is a small charity based in Hillsborough, Sheffield. Our project support role will assist our Director of services in the day to day running of the charity and organisation of inclusive events and groups for our beneficiaries.

Role subject to 3 month trial period.

Role

Project Support. Reports to the Director of Services and Trustee board.

Responsibilities

  • Events support and organisation.
  • Connecting and supporting members in person and online.
  • Supporting members with a range of complex and diverse needs.
  • Networking with other charitable organisations.
  • Flexible hours – some evenings and weekends.
  • Full UK Driving license and use of your own car is required for this role – mileage paid.
  • High standards of communication, discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Support with function set ups and turnarounds.
  • Supporting with feedback.
  • Supporting with compliance.
  • Providing evidence for funders.
  • Completing any training necessary to the role.
  • Any additional duties that the charity requires.
