The predicted salary is between 22000 - 30000 Β£ per year.

The Employment Coach will deliver the information, advice and guidance function within SOARs Social Prescribing Service, working on a one-to-one basis to:

  • identify employment opportunities for the range of individuals referred to job club provision from a variety of sources
  • support individuals into sustained employment
  • determine realistic employment goals and identify the individual’s barriers to work, support them to access a range of internal and external services to address their barrier to work
  • pro-actively approach potential employers to secure work opportunities
  • liaise with the individual and employers to ensure employment is sustained
  • develop close working partnerships with health, social care, housing and voluntary, community or faith (VCF) organisations.

The post holder will have strong communication skills, be organised and able to engage with clients from a range of backgrounds, managing a complex caseload. Using motivational interviewing and coaching techniques to build confidence in clients and to progress them into work and/or training.

An Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
