An exciting opportunity for Designer/Junior designer has become available in a fast-paced Fashion Supplier.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and versatile Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a broad design interest and who is eager to contribute to a variety of product categories including Soft Wovens/tailoring and smart jersey. You will work with the design team and sales team throughout the development process, from concept to sample. You will work on trend-lead development as well as customer requests. You will be responsible for developing commercial, fashion forward, production friendly garments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• CAD DESIGN
• WORKING ACROSS WOMENS SOFT WOVENS/TAILORING AND SMART JERSEY
• SUPPLIER BACKGROUND ADVANTAGEOUS
• FABRIC KNOWLEDGE ESSENTIAL
• GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF GARMENT CONSTRUCTION AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
• TRIM AND FABRIC SOURCING
• TREND RESEARCH
• EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION
