Role Overview
The Energy Sales Manager will manage client accounts end-to-end, overseeing tender management, contract administration, issue resolution, and ongoing client support. This role is central to maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring service levels are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Bespoke Tender Management: Manage bespoke tenders from initiation to completion, ensuring all SLAs are met.
- Contracting & Sleeving Administration: Oversee contract generation, execution, registration, and renewal monitoring, including coordinating and administering sleeving arrangements where applicable.
- Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for client or broker queries; resolve directly or elevate as required.
- Billing & Metering Coordination: Collaborate with Billing to resolve invoice discrepancies and with Metering on reads, installations, and fault resolution.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Liaise with Pricing, Billing, Metering, and Credit teams to ensure smooth handovers and issue resolution.
- Reporting & Administration: Keep internal systems updated; produce portfolio, SLA, and issue reports; support audits.
- Client Coordination: Serve as the day-to-day operational contact; conduct weekly client calls and maintain ongoing engagement.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of energy sales experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Proactive, detail-focused, and solution-oriented
- Right to work in the UK – mandatory
