Do you want to earn some extra money before Christmas? VP Forensicare is recruiting for a Bank support worker role in the NR31 Great Yarmouth area. This is to support a male client with an Acquired Brain Injury. Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas.
You Will Need:
- Caring, patient and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English
- Motivation to make a difference to our clients
- Experience of supporting clients with an Acquired Brain Injury and Complex Behaviours, or some form of care experience to meet a specific level of knowledge
- Full working rights in the UK (VP do not offer sponsorship)
Responsibilities:
- Providing high quality person centered support to our clients
- Supporting our client with working toward their rehabilitation/development goals
- Moving and handling via hoisting
- Supporting with daily living tasks and engaging in fulfilling and meaningful activities with our clients
- Providing support to access the community that are engaging and fun for our clients
- Personal care and physical support in a dignified and respectful way
- Working under the supervision and guidance of the multi-disciplinary team
- Managing complex behaviour and risk presented
Pay: £12.35 per hour, £12.75 per hour on weekends
Benefits:
- Holiday pay + pension
- Referral bonus when you help us build our team of dedicated staff. Earn £200 if you refer a support worker and £300 if you refer an RMN/RNLD
- Comprehensive training that will develop your knowledge and skills and support you in your role with us and any future career/educational pursuits
All successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check, if not already registered on the update service. You will also be required to supply two satisfactory references.
