The Mission of Voltalis UK is rolling out its energy flexibility technology across the UK, connecting commercial buildings to the grid to reduce energy use during peak demand. As a BMS Engineer, you make that connection happen.
Why This Role
This isn't just installation; you'll be solving real integration challenges across live buildings and helping shape how Voltalis UK deploys at scale in the UK. You'll work across offices, hotels, and large commercial sites, combining hands-on engineering with real-world problem solving.
What You'll Do
- Conduct site surveys (BMS, HVAC, protocols)
- Install and commission hardware (gateways, loggers, controllers)
- Configure and troubleshoot BACnet, Modbus, and IP systems
- Map points and onboard systems to the platform
- Produce basic design docs and site reports
- Work with FM teams, subcontractors, and internal engineers
Who You Are
- Hands-on BMS / controls engineer with commercial building experience
- Strong knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, HVAC systems
- Comfortable working on-site and troubleshooting issues independently
- Clear communicator with a practical, problem-solving mindset
Requirements
- BMS / controls / integration experience
- Located in London or South East of England
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to travel nationally
