About Volta

Volta is the category-defining, fully vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform – from capital to clusters to software, under a founder-led enterprise. Our mission is The Utility of Compute™: AI infrastructure as dependable and available as electricity, for every organization that needs it. Launched with a $10B strategic partnership with one of the leading frontier AI labs, a Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, and a $5B AI Infrastructure Fund, Volta is building the infrastructure layer of the AI era from the ground up. We are 100+ people across London, Palo Alto, and New York, with rapid growth expectations to hundreds.

About The Role

Volta is building a fleet of AI data centres across Europe, and the Regional Delivery Manager owns how that fleet gets delivered. Reporting to the Global Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for every active project in the region – for safety, quality, schedule and cost – from early works through turn-up to live compute. You will lead the region's Project Delivery Managers and their embedded project teams, working hand in hand with Volta's functional leaders to keep standards consistent while giving each project the pace and autonomy it needs. This is a senior leadership role in a delivery organisation that is scaling quickly, with new sites entering the pipeline as Volta grows.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own delivery of all active European projects, with accountability for safety, quality, schedule and cost across the regional portfolio
  • Lead, develop and grow the region's Project Delivery Managers and their multidisciplinary project teams
  • Drive consistent execution standards across projects in partnership with Volta's function leaders
  • Manage senior relationships with general contractors, consultants and key vendors across the region
  • Direct resource planning across concurrent builds, keeping the right capability on the right site at the right time
  • Own regional reporting, risk management and escalation to the Global Delivery Manager and executive team
  • Shape delivery strategy for new European sites entering the pipeline, from front-end planning through mobilisation
  • Embed lessons learned across the fleet so every project builds faster and safer than the last

What You Bring

  • Significant data centre delivery experience is essential, including accountability for multiple concurrent projects
  • A track record leading project managers and large multidisciplinary construction teams
  • Deep experience managing general contractors and major works packages in live delivery environments
  • A safety-first leadership record on complex construction programmes
  • Strong commercial judgement across contracts, cost and change on major capital projects
  • Confident executive-level communication and reporting
  • Willingness to travel regularly across European sites
