About The Role
The Global Cost Manager owns how cost is managed across the Volta fleet. Working within the project controls function, you will set the cost management standards every project runs on and hold the portfolio-level cost picture that leadership relies on. You will work day to day with the project controls leads on each project, consolidating forecasts, governing change and making sure cost reporting means the same thing on every site, in every country.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own cost management standards, structures and reporting across all Volta projects
- Consolidate project cost forecasts into a single portfolio view for leadership
- Govern cost baselines and change control in partnership with project teams
- Drive accurate value-of-work-done and accrual reporting across the fleet
- Build cost benchmarking across projects, packages and regions
- Support contract negotiations and procurement with robust cost data
- Coach project controls leads on cost management practice
- Improve cost systems, tools and processes as the fleet grows

- Cost management experience on data center or major capital projects is essential
