Volta’s Finance team ensures we know exactly who we’re doing business with and that our records stay accurate, complete, and audit-ready. As our KYC & Admin Analyst, you’ll conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) checks on new and existing clients, partners, and vendors, while providing administrative support that keeps the compliance function running smoothly. This role is well-suited to someone who’s detail-oriented and process-driven, and who wants to build a career in compliance or risk within a global business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Perform KYC/KYB due diligence checks on new and existing customers, partners, and vendors, verifying identity and ownership documentation.
- Screen individuals and entities against sanctions, PEP, and adverse media lists, escalating potential matches for further review.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of due diligence findings in compliance systems and trackers.
- Support periodic reviews and re-verification of existing clients based on risk rating and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of compliance reports, dashboards and documentation for internal stakeholders and auditors.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Finance team, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.
- Help maintain and improve KYC checklists, templates, and internal process documentation.
- Respond to internal queries regarding KYC status and documentation requirements in a timely manner.
- Flag any unusual findings or potential red flags to senior team members.
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in KYC, AML, compliance, or a related analyst role, ideally within financial services, fintech, or a regulated industry.
- Working knowledge of KYC/KYB, AML, and sanctions screening processes and requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with sensitive documentation and data.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of cases and administrative tasks accurately.
- Strong written communication skills, comfortable documenting findings clearly.
- Proficiency with standard office software and comfort learning new compliance or case management tools.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to elevate issues appropriately.
- Relevant certification (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) is a plus but not required.
