About The Role
The Contracts Manager owns how Volta contracts for its fleet. You will set the contracting strategy and standards used across every project, and lead the contracts leads embedded in each project team through a functional line. From contracting models and standard forms to negotiation, claims and commercial governance, this role makes sure Volta builds on terms that protect the business and keep projects moving.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own Volta's contracting strategy across general contractor, package and vendor agreements
- Set standard contract forms, flow-downs and commercial terms across the fleet
- Lead major negotiations alongside procurement and project leadership
- Provide functional leadership to the contracts leads embedded in each project team
- Build claims avoidance practice and manage disputes when they arise
- Run commercial governance, delegations and approvals across projects
- Keep contracting standards compliant across multiple European jurisdictions
- Train and develop commercial capability across the delivery organization
What You Bring
- Contracts leadership on data center or major capital projects is essential
- Deep experience of construction contracting models and standard forms across European markets
- A strong record in negotiation and claims management on complex builds
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and governing to standard
