This role owns revenue at Volta Charger.
You are the single point of accountability for hitting weekly and monthly sales targets on our DTC store. This is not a brand role, not a strategy-only role, and not a \”support marketing\” role.
If revenue is missed, you fix it.
If something is working, you scale it.
If a lever exists, you pull it.
What This Role Is (and Is Not)
This is a trading and execution role.
You will:
- Decide the offer
- Direct the creatives
- Control the funnel
- Push campaigns live
- Review numbers daily
- Iterate fast
You will not:
- Spend weeks auditing
- Wait for direction
- Hide behind decks or reports
- Delegate thinking back to the founder
Your Ownership –

Revenue & Targets

Own weekly and monthly revenue targets
- Build and run the commercial calendar (offers, drops, pushes)

Manage spend to hit revenue and contribution margin goals

Immediate Monetisation
From day one, you are expected to:
- Monetise existing traffic, lists, and customers
- Improve conversion across homepage, PDPs, and checkout

Activate email, SMS, and VIP/community channels aggressively

Creative Control

Own creative performance end-to-end
- Define hooks, angles, and formats
- Brief designers, editors, and creators with clarity

Kill losers fast, scale winners faster

Funnel & CRO

Constantly test:
- Offers
- Bundles
- Pricing
- CTAs
- Page structure

Improve CVR, AOV, and LTV continuously

Team Direction (Not Management)

Provide daily commercial direction to:
- Designers
- Editors
- Email marketer
- Web developer
- Ensure all output ladders directly to revenue goals
What Success Looks Like
First 14 Days
- Launch at least one strong commercial push
- Improve monetisation of existing traffic and lists
- Clear revenue impact, not just \”insights\”
30–45 Days
- Weekly revenue operating rhythm in place
- Clear benchmarks for CVR, AOV, CAC, LTV
- Repeatable creative testing system live
60–90 Days
- Predictable weekly performance
- Reduced founder involvement in day-to-day growth
- A scalable system ready to push toward consistent $100k+ months
If you need 30 days to \”understand ecommerce growth,\” this role is not for you.
Who You Are

A hands-on DTC operator, not a strategist-only marketer

Comfortable inside:
- Shopify
- Meta Ads Manager
- Klaviyo
- Analytics dashboards
- You think in numbers, levers, and outcomes
- You move fast, make decisions, and take responsibility
- You prefer execution to discussion
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in a hands-on DTC growth or ecommerce trading role
- Experience owning a revenue target or P&L
- Strong understanding of:
- Paid media economics
- CRO
- Retention and LTV
- Manchester-based (or willing to be) with 2–3 days in-office

Compensation
- Base Salary: £55,000 – £72,000 (experience-dependent)
- Performance Bonus: Directly tied to monthly and quarterly revenue/profit targets
