As the Social Media Coordinator, your primary focus will be on managing and planning engaging content for Volt's social media platforms.
Your main responsibilities include curating and scheduling content for publication, interacting with our audience, and analyzing engagement metrics to refine our online social strategy.
You will work closely with the Comms lead, Content Delivery Lead, and Chapter Lead in regular meetings and general communications related inquiries to ensure consistency across all communication channels.
Key Responsibilities Developing content strategies and creating engaging social media posts that align with the party's branding and messaging.
Managing our social media accounts, including scheduling and publishing content on various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, You Tube, Tik Tok, etc.
Interacting with followers by responding to comments, messages and mentions in a timely manner.
Coordinating with Content Delivery and Comms Lead in monitoring engagement metrics (e. g., likes, shares, comments) and analyzing the data to optimize future content strategies.
Collaborating with other teams to align social media efforts with overall campaign objectives.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, including their strengths and unique features.
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative content ideas.
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail, meeting deadlines efficiently.
Results-driven approach and proactive mindset in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to collaborate with others effectivvly in regular meetings and planing discussions.
Knowledge of graphic design and photo editing software (e. g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma ).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong teamwork skills.
