Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. The Sales Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct outbound calls, and manage inbound leads to build a strong sales pipeline. The role involves understanding client needs across energy, water, and telecoms, preparing tailored proposals, and presenting cost‑saving solutions to decision‑makers. The Sales Executive will negotiate contracts, coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients. The role also includes maintaining accurate CRM records, tracking performance against targets, and contributing feedback to improve sales processes and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within energy, utilities, telecoms, or related business services.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging confidently with business owners and senior stakeholders.
- Solid commercial awareness and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret tariffs, contracts, and pricing structures.
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and target‑driven, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, office‑based environment with a focus on outbound calling and lead generation.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
- Willingness to learn about the UK energy and utilities markets and stay up to date with industry changes.
- Relevant experience in account management or customer relationship management is an advantage.
- GCSEs/A-Levels or equivalent; further education in business, sales, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
