The Volkswagen Passenger Cars Marketing team are recruiting for a Performance Marketing Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

What you could be doing:

  • Reporting into the Brand and Performance Marketing Manager, you will have responsibility for managing paid marketing channel strategies, developing tactical performance campaigns, and for leading marketing funnel performance.
  • The scope of this role is primarily for generating demand for new car orders across Network Sales, however could also include activity for used cars, fleet, and aftersales.
  • You will be directly accountable for marketing activity that drives customer demand to achieve commercial objectives.

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • MONDAY: Leading our weekly marketing performance meeting across all stakeholders.
  • TUESDAY: Agreeing activity optimisations with agencies, and inputs to Weekly Pulse Meeting.
  • WEDNESDAY: Liaising with Brand & Performance / Marketing Team on broader marketing initiatives.
  • THURSDAY: Engagement with the business on priorities and likely tactical offers for next quarter.
  • FRIDAY: Reviewing mid-term creative and media recommendations from agencies.

We are looking for a self-starter with experience of working within a fast-paced environment and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. A confident approach to agency management, with an emphasis on building strong and effective relationships is essential.

You should have a passion for digital and performance marketing and a deep understanding of its ever-increasing importance in modern communications. Be able to operate in a data-driven marketing environment with a high focus on delivering against quantifiable KPIs.
